What a great time of year to go for a big game hunt. Winter is over and the weather is finally nice again.
In Montana all Black Bear hunts are fair chase (no baiting and no hound hunting). We have a very healthy Black Bear population with a very high percentage of beautiful color phase Bears.
Spring Black Bear season begins April 15 and runs through the end of May. Spring is the breading season for Bears; this is when the extra-large elusive Boars may show themselves during the daylight in search of a mate.
With an incredible Bear population paired with beautiful spring weather this hunt is not only a great high success rate hunt, it is also a wonderful vacation.
